Borghild Kalford, NP

Borghild Kalford, NP is a 30 year resident of Colorado, moving here from Northern California after her husband was transferred as a civilian employee of the Air Force. Her primary nursing experience has been surgical oncology, cardiology with a large focus in cardiac intensive care and emergency room. As a nurse practitioner, she’s worked initially cardiovascular surgery at Penrose hospital, and then 12 years in an internal medicine office. Borghild has been married just over 31 years and have identical twin sons that are 28 years old. She keeps busy reading, spending time with family and watching sports, especially basketball and football. Her goals as a nurse practitioner is to ensure that patients are heard and they understand their care.
